Big car and bigger car. The Riviera is around a yard longer than the Mustang bumper to bumper. Holy damns.

It has more visual weight due to its proportions. As nibby pointed out it’s 20" shorter and I believe ~350lbs lighter than the Buick.

I have a car that’s another 20" longer still than the Riv... and 1500lb heavier. Ha ha.

And the Riviera looks much more like a whale than the SC430 which was styled reportedly after a whale.

yeah it’s just the way it’s parked. The Stang is further forward in it’s spot than the buick.

207" Riv - 187" Stang
3788lbs Riv vs 3350lbs (v6) / 3475lbs (V8) stang
Still though, I thought the Riviera would be pushing well over 4k. Though just under by ~200 lbs.
